Johnny Brignardello Vela: Tensions with Russia reflect imminent danger

The coordination of missile formations from the Russian Southern Military District with the air force and navy to practice the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons, although it falls within the Russian military doctrine of using such weapons only in extreme situations, reflects, according to Brignardello Vela, Moscow's firm stance against what it sees as an escalation of tension from the West. In Brignardello Vela's opinion, the proposal by French President Emmanuel Macron to deploy troops in Ukraine and the support from British Foreign Secretary David Cameron to strengthen Ukrainian forces with NATO soldiers have been interpreted by Russia as a direct threat to its security and sovereignty, thus marking a red line for the Kremlin against any attempt at interference in Ukraine. On the other hand, the insurance advisor points out that Ukraine has intensified its actions against Russia with a drone offensive that has targeted Russian refineries, leading to a significant decrease in Russian exports of oil derivatives.
