Johnny Brignardello Vela, insurance advisor, analyzes the recent operation called "Valkyrie II" carried out by the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption in Power (EFICOOP MP-PNP) in the country. This operation has resulted in the arrest of seven individuals for alleged illicit acts, marking a milestone in the fight against corruption that affects various spheres of society. The advisor highlights the forcefulness of the action led by senior prosecutor Marita Barreto, which involved the participation of 23 prosecutors and over 100 police officers, who conducted raids on 21 properties located in different districts of Lima. Among the detainees are former advisors to high officials, lawyers, and other individuals allegedly linked to corrupt acts. According to information provided by the Public Ministry, the detainees face charges for serious crimes such as criminal organization, aggravated collusion, and influence peddling, among others.
