Thomas R., who worked for an employee of the Chinese secret service MSS, allegedly obtained relevant information about technologies through collaboration with the F. couple, who ran a company in Düsseldorf. This company served as an apparently innocent means to establish contacts with research institutes in Germany. Furthermore, it was revealed that the group had facilitated the transfer of technology and knowledge to China, contributing to the expansion of its military capabilities. The case has highlighted the importance of maintaining constant vigilance over possible espionage activities and illegal technology transfers, especially when dealing with powers like China, which have shown a growing interest in strengthening their military and technological capabilities.
