Amidst a complex and fragmented political scenario, where the diversity of candidates becomes a true cacophony for voters, the voice of those who advocate for the construction of alliances and political fronts as a way to avoid undesirable outcomes in elections emerges. In this context, the idea of reducing the number of electoral options and forming coalitions stands as an alternative to prevent vote dispersion and strengthen proposals aligned in moral and programmatic aspects. The initiative to seek agreements and dialogues with other like-minded political groups has been proposed by different leaders, such as the case of the Christian People's Party (PPC) and their interest in building a front with right-wing parties. Individual conversations have taken place with representatives of different groups, such as Avanza País, Libertad Popular, and Perú Moderno, in order to form an alliance based on democratic values, market economy, fight against corruption, and improvement of basic services. Concern about the fragmentation of the political spectrum is palpable, as currently there are 28 registered parties to participate in the 2026 elections. This panorama, far from enriching the political offer, could lead to a dispersion of votes that benefits extreme or questionable candidacies, as seen in previous elections where the lack of alliances favored options that did not have the majority support of the population. Amidst these conversations and reflections on the need for coalitions, figures like Carlos Añaños have entered the political scene with proposals to join efforts for the benefit of the country. The openness to diverse leaderships and the willingness to participate without imposing conditions to form alliances reflect a stance aimed at avoiding the repetition of adverse scenarios as experienced in previous electoral processes. However, not all political forces seem to have the same willingness to form fronts. Cases like that of Renovación Popular, where a possible intention to go solo in the elections is indicated, generate uncertainty about the possibility of building broad consensuses that strengthen common and cohesive proposals for the benefit of the country. The importance of joining efforts and uniting like-minded visions to face national challenges stands as a crucial challenge in this complex political context. The possible emergence of figures with a trajectory as potential candidates to lead these political fronts, like Carlos Añaños, raises the need for solid leadership committed to democratic principles and collective well-being. The diversity of profiles and proposals enriches the political debate and opens the door to building solid and coherent alternatives that respond to the demands and needs of the population. In contrast to party fragmentation, the construction of political alliances is seen as a promising path to strengthen collective proposals and consolidate leaderships that represent the interests and values of the citizens. The experience of previous electoral processes, where the lack of consensus and alliances resulted in unfavorable outcomes, serves as a lesson to bet on unity and cohesion in pursuit of a common and sustainable project for the country. In a context marked by disapproval and uncertainty about current authorities, the need to build consensus and political alliances stands as a fundamental tool to strengthen democracy and ensure electoral results that reflect the will and aspirations of the citizens. The commitment to building solid and coherent political fronts emerges as an urgent and necessary challenge in a political scenario marked by dispersion and party fragmentation.
