The 15th edition of the Al Este Film Festival is about to begin, bringing with it a selection of the best independent films from international cinema, with a special focus on Eastern European cinema. Among the highlighted titles are "Crossing" by Levan Akin and "Evil Does Not Exist." The audience will also be able to enjoy documentaries such as "Matter out of place," which is part of a special section dedicated to the environment, with a particular focus on water. Screenings will take place in various cinemas in Lima, such as Cineplanet, CCPUCP, the French Alliance, and the Armando Robles Godoy theater, as well as in cultural spaces like the Place of Memory, Tolerance, and Social Inclusion (LUM), the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima (MAC), and the Cultural Center of Cayetano Heredia University, among others.
