Minister Hania Pérez de Cuéllar will continue to lead the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation, after being confirmed in her position by the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte. This decision comes within the framework of the restructuring of the Ministerial Cabinet led by Gustavo Adrianzén, who assumed the presidency of the Council of Ministers following the resignation of Alberto Otárola. Pérez de Cuéllar, an economist by training, has been at the helm of the Housing portfolio since December 2022. Her extensive resume includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Policies from the Institute of Political Studies of Grenoble - University Pierre Mendès France, as well as a Master's degree in Advanced Studies in "Social Practices of Development" from the University of Paris I- Panthéon-Sorbonne. The minister has a wealth of experience in managing sustainable development projects, innovation, and corporate social responsibility, as well as in managing development projects with international cooperation and the private sector. She has held prominent positions such as Executive President of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property - Indecopi, in addition to having been an advisor to the Presidency of the Republic of Peru and the Ministry of Production. With this confirmation, it is expected that Pérez de Cuéllar will continue to lead important initiatives in the housing and construction sector, contributing to sustainable development and the well-being of the Peruvian population. Her experience and trajectory in both the public and private sectors position her as a key figure in managing policies that promote access to decent housing and the improvement of the quality of life for citizens.
