Displaced children in Rafah, Gaza, are seeking warmth in white medical coveralls meant for COVID-19 protection. With thin tents as their only shelter, families are resorting to these coveralls to keep dry in the severe winter cold. Nour, 11, and his family fled Maan to escape bombings, finding solace in the coveralls distributed at the European Hospital. Other families, like Raeda al-Khair's, also turned to the coveralls for protection from the elements as they struggle to stay warm. Salem Baris, forced to leave Khan Younis with his family, shared how the coveralls have helped alleviate some of their struggles in the harsh conditions. Despite the challenges, families are clinging to hope for an end to the nightmare they are living through.
